Following work, Emily and I decided to catch an early showing of Shrek 2 with hilarious results. XD

Pusss! ...in Boots!

I'm trottin' in place! I'm trottin' in place!

That movie was brilliant! There were times that I was lost in the animation, it looked so lifelike. I loved all the little nods to fractured fairy tales all over the map, and even a few references to Disney "fairy tale" films (Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, anyone?) I found trivia tidbits, too...

Antonio Banderas stole the show as Puss in Boots. The eyes. The EYES! XD

Mongo and Coffee. That's all I'm saying about that. XD

Servo, both Em and I want the soundtrack. Provide, please? :D ("I need a hero!! I'm holding out for a hero 'till the end of the night...")

Following the movie, we returned to her place and I proceeded to expose Erin ([livejournal.com profile] limeleopard) to Invader Zim. That's one more down to helping Zim take over the world. ;) ("Ooh! This is my favorite show! ...no, this is my favorite show! ...I love this show!")

Wow, I just read that in the Netherlands, gas is approximately $6 a gallon (compared to the US price of $2 a gallon, on average). Methinks on Friday I'll be bussing around the majority, if not all, of the day.

Franz Schubert is, without a doubt, the leader of the lieder. He composed over 600 songs in his lifetime, though he only lived into his early thirties. He did a good deal of chamber music and symphonic writing as well, though a good portion of this is incomplete. Schubert was rather secretive in his lifestyle and about his compositional processes; he was shy to show anything he didn't himself enjoy. Fortunately, he along with everyone else found his own melodies to be beautiful.
A few key works: Die Winterreise, The Trout Quintet, Unfinished Symphony (#8), Death and the Maiden.
Take the Dead German Composer Test!

FEBRUARY: Abstract thoughts. Loves reality and abstract. Intelligent and clever. Changing personality. Attractive. Sexy. Temperamental. Quiet, shy and humble. Honest and loyal. Determined to reach goals. Loves freedom. Rebellious when restricted. Loves aggressiveness. Too sensitive and easily hurt. Gets angry really easily but thoes not show it. Dislike unnecessary things. Loves making friends but rarely shows it. Daring and stubborn. Ambitious. Realizing dreams and hopes. Sharp. Loves entertainment and leisure. Romantic on the inside not outside. Superstitious and ludicrous. Spendthrift. Tries to learn to show emotions.

It appears that WaterParkCity is holding a Silent Auction for a dozen condominiums.

(Interesting, I didn't know there were 5 phases to this construction.)

Maybe I should put in a bid.
