"Because one of the bean-counters looked at it, and said, "...Wait, this isn't a Star Wars game." and cancelled it out-right." -PMAverz

Scott Ramsoomair posted this link to SaveSamAndMax.com. Go save Sam & Max from their cancellation fate! GO! GO NOW! BEFORE IT'S TOO*whud*urkk--

Although "Online Petitions" seem to have not much weight these days, I heartily believe that this game will sell, regardless. The first game came out, like, 10 years ago. And if anything, the people who bought that game would definitely buy the sequel, so they've got an established base. Plus, the world's missing humourous games these days. Especially Sam & Max games. (I played the game occasionally just to play the Car-Battleship game. You Destroyed my Desoto! ^_^) *signs* wow, 11900 signatures already...

I wonder if Full Throttle 2 could be saved in this way, too...

*continues to read website* Sadly, the person, whomever is writing it, has spoken rather negatively against LucasArts and I wonder if this will help at all. Calling the person who issued the press release of the cancellation and telling his secretary to "punch him in the balls" is so f***in' counterproductive to the cause that it actually angers me. >_<

Anyhow, Kev, you might have seen this already, but there's a LucasArts VintageGaming.org site.

...waitaminnit.... *ponders* didn't I have a Sam & Max Pin somewhere? I'm certain I did... >,>

This editorial at AdventureGamers.com mentions that he'll buy Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude when it comes out, as a response to the bigwigs that adventures aren't dead. True enough; if this game tanks, that would not be a good impression.

I was going to upgrade my computer for this game, so that I could at least play it and give it a well-deserved playthrough. Well, if it never comes out, I guess I won't be upgrading. Not for a while, anyway. *shrugs*

Do you know how difficult it is for me to find a decent picture of Kite from .hack? O.o

Anyhow...

I should probably draw up a design sheet for Kite and get to work on it soon. Dunno where I'm gonna get the aqua-coloured wig or the leather-style beltstuff or the backpack-thingy (since I haven't seen a picture of his back, I don't know what that is).

That doesn't even include the patterns on his pants, or the undershirt, or the odd belt buckle... *blinku*

Hoo boy, this may be more complex than I thought. Even just finding the orange material might be awkward.

Oh yeah, now I remember where the Fabricland is near here. Maybe I'll go check it out later tonight.

Also: I found out that the Anime North Anime Music Video deadline is exactly 1 month from now. I'd better get it finished and figure out a way to get a Quicktime file onto a VCD or VHS.
