In other news, Daredevil and Arwen are starring in the new Kevin Smith movie, Jersey Girl. Funny trailer. Definitely seems to be a departure from his other alternative movies. I might actually see it in the theatres.
Kevin Smith mentions here that he's gonna be at Roy Thomson Hall on the 12th of March. I don't know if I'm working (stupid me, forgot to write down my own schedule) but, anyone want to go? (And what's Mr. Smith doing on AOL? O.o) It's not listed on the website yet. I guess it'll show up soon...
Also, thanks to Real Life Comics, they mentioned Save Disney.com, a site run by Roy Disney and Stanley Gold, in hopes of returning Disney to what Walt's original vision was - for the familes, and not the corporations.
I leave you tonight (today?) with a quote:
I love the fact that the word humus - the decayed vegetable matter that feeds plants - comes from the same root that gives rise to the word humility.
It helps me understand that the humiliating events of life, the events that leave "mud on my face" or that "make my name mud", may create the fertile soil in whil something new can grow.
