Today, you have the freedom to vote [for the new Toronto Mayor].

Tomorrow, remember the ones who gave you that freedom [Rememberance Day in Canada].

Well, I got an e-mail back from that guy in Boston...

Looks like he still has an AIBO to sell.

Y'know, at $550 Canadian, that's a pretty good price...

I think I might go with Emily's suggestion that I just ask for money for Christmas and get this little guy now...

*cough* and on a different note... I like this quiz, eve though the questions asked don't seem to relate at all to the results. How does "Blue" translate to "Bitch Slap"? (Although, I think they phrased "What's your favorite colour" MUCH better...)
Bitch Slapper!

A tribute for Johnny brings out the stars

The lineup for the Johnny Cash tribute concert says a lot about the late singer's place in popular music.

He inspired rockers Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow and John Mellencamp as well as twangers George Jones, Willie Nelson and Brooks & Dunn.

"He influenced music is such a profound way, beyond the genre of country," said Ronnie Dunn.

Kix Brooks added: "The first song book I had was 100 songs by Johnny Cash. I learned every one of them. ... Those are shoes that will not be filled."

Cash hits such as Ring of Fire, I Walk the Line and Folsom Prison Blues became country and rock standards.

This year he received a Grammy and three CMAs.

Cash died September 12 at age 71 of complications from diabetes.

The free concert will be held today at the Ryman Auditorium -- former home of the Grand Ole Opry radio show -- and broadcast on Country Music Television. Actor Tim Robbins will emcee.

Hope you're around to see it, Saku... ^_^

Ok, I am so dead-tired right now... I'll be going to bed soon.

But anyhow, Matrix: Revolutions was fairly good - I just really liked the Mecha scene in the middle. I think that the second (and third) Matrix suffered from the fact that the first one just RAWKED, and the other two had a LOT to live up to. Maybe if all three movies were released at the same time (I know, they weren't recorded LOTR-style) it would've looked incredible.

Roupen's Birthday Party was last night, and there was much anime and gameage. <whisper>GO BUS!!!!1 And much Indyage, too, as 3 seperate groups got him the Indiana Jones DVD Box Set... XD That was a laugh riot...

I managed to give Kevin his Animal Crossing/Zelda goodness today, but, at a cost. He missed his train and almost missed his bus home. >_< You know how Emily says not to trust her for directions? Don't trust me to estimate time! :P I figured we'd be able to get downtown in 30 minutes... BZZZZT.

I don't know who started it, but I don't think Pot Luck is the way we have Rememberance Day... in any case, I've made my Beef Stroganoff. I just need to cook-down the sauce a bit...

Nitenite...
