A couple of links for y'all:
Eye Magazine has a new article on how people are middle-class poor. I guess I'm just a touch above poor, then, and it's true. Look at the factors in terms of costs, and I don't have debts to pay or such a high rent (so living with the parents does have an advantage), but I do have $600 a month for my transportation - my car, Amaterasu (that includes insurance and gas). If I was living on my own I'd probably be worse off.
