Let's start off with the BASH today.
Culture Clash.
I was thinking "girlfriend" too.
Warning: Language. Not like that stopped you before. ^_^
Another "Girlfriend" joke.
This had me in stitches.
I think I shall have to remember this.
Work yesterday was regular. Although they delivered the movies maybe about 4 hours before they had to go to air (which, for us, is annoying, because it takes 2 hours for the computers to ingest it into the server).
After work I went downtown and walked around Chinatown. I walked into the AnimeXtreme store (man, Steve is a good salesperson... puts all the items I want right into my hands ^_^), also checked out Kikiwai and discovered they had Chobits Keychains... >.< So much good stuff, so little money!
I managed to get Pop'n Music 6 - finally! I can't find J-Tekno2 on there, but I wonder if it's a song to unlock... ;_;
After Chinatown, I went and met up with Emily - but even before that, I ran into an old friend from Earl Haig, Neela. She's studying Genetics at U of T, which is pretty cool. She's looking into the genes of that worm that they managed to map-out (part of the Genome Project). We keep running into each other every few years around town... which I think is hilarious. I think the last time I saw her, I was in the subway on the way to U8TV. ^_^
I was highly amused with a trick with paper bills yesterday - folding a bill in a specific way makes the face on the bill frown or smile. (Look
here for what I'm talking about. Fold the bill so that there are two "mountains" at the person's eyes and a valley inbetween them, then tilt the bill up and down.)
Aargh! Yes, I was told Fruits Basket episode 8 was a tear jerker... but I still couldn't keep my composure :P
After UTARPA, Emily took me on a tour of the campuses at U of T. I'm surprised about how every building there is quite old, and there was only one really new building... everything else was retro-fitted with new windows. And the majority of them were residences! I wonder what they look like inside, considering the outward look makes me think there's nothing inside but giant halls and gymnasiums :P
I'm off for four days! ^_^ I'm "on call" for Rogers tonight. I hope I don't have to go in, because Mom and Dad are having a nice dinner with relatives and they have New York Steaks for everyone, myself included. ^_^ (Dad won a touch of coin at the Casino recently :P)
