I have returned!

This weekend I went and stayed over at Kinnon's place, with Chris, Chris, Matt and Tim, in Hamilton.

These guys have an awesome house, so close to McMaster U. Everyone's got their own separate rooms, all done up in one anime style or another, with computers aplenty. I was really impressed with the LCD screens built into Chris's computer... while I really shouldn't be :P But the computer-inside-a-stereo-frame was cool - and the messages that appear are pretty funny ^_^

The first night we all gathered and watched Uzumaki (Vortex, or Spiral), a live-action Japanese horror film. It's not "jump out and scare you"-scary, just "mind-warping" scary. Or, as Chris puts it, "Slow Burn". I can't really describe it... but little things in the movie catch my attention that just wierded me out. If you see the movie you'd understand. Plus, now I see spirals more prominently than I did before.

I think I'll have to get Animal Crossing sometime. I remember that I didn't really want to get that game because I didn't know anyone with a Gamecube, much less Animal Crossing. But now that I've played the game for a couple of days, it's grown on me. I was de-weeding the place for the first few hours, selling tons of fruit, meeting everyone... the next time I go to their house, I should "travel"... well, that is, if I get the game before the next time I go there.

Sleeping over there wasn't that bad! I thought I'd end up getting zero sleep - but ultimately ended up sleeping rather well on their pull-out couch. Reminds me of Muskoka when I had a cabin to myself. But, without the sounds of the lake. :P

Mom finally asked about the Hellsing desktop I have on my computer right now. Since she's inquired, I think it's time to change it, and keep her guessing :P

And Jake's tuggingonmysweater rightnow I'dbetter get this posted...
