This happened Friday at 6:00am, but they wouldn't let me update...

Great, we have a Cold Warning for the Toronto area today. And on a day with no heat O_o

Anyways...

This is happening today...

It's still cold. The furnace is in and appears to be functioning, at least my Dad figures it's working...

However, when I look at it, I notice the big red switch is in the "OFF" position, and the two heat dials are both set to 0 degrees. O_o

Mom tells me that the Gas Company is still waiting on a replacement piece - "but maybe it wasn't updated"... how horrid is that for a gas company to NOT be able to follow their own workers?

Kinnon sent me this preview for a game that I want - Deka Voice... I'm just missing a few vital parts to own it. It's a Detective game with you talk to the characters using the Headset/Microphone thing that came with SOCOM, and it even lets AIBO communicate with it O_o. I only need:
* The Game
* A PS2
* The Headset Microphone
* an AIBO ;)

Unbe-fucking-lievable and Fucking Freezing

Well, at least Rogers was moderately warm.

I've returned from Rogers volunteer work to discover that no-one called us all day regarding our Heat problem. Mom had called at 3:00 and they said to call back at 4:30; when she called them back then they didn't have the time to get here.

I got home to Dad on the phone (he just left with Mom to a friend's dinner that they were invited to - sadly, they were supposed to be there at 6) trying to get ONE GUY out to light the Pilot light.

There's a tag here that says it's been inspected (I overheard that it might not have needed to be inspected because it's BRAND-NEW O_o) and Dad was even offering to turn on the Pilot light himself if someone would walk him through it. Needless to say they didn't do so.

So, another cold night. I've worked out the Electric Blanket so it works now, I've made a pot of tea, and I'm most likely going to sit in front of the computer or TV with the heater by my feet. O_o
