Yep. Still cold this morning.

It's even worse than "waking up and hitting cold floor"-syndrome, because the very air is cold. O_o

I can't be sure if my electric blanket worked last night... it was turned on an hour before I crawled into bed and it was still cold o_O

I gotta go renew my Driver's License today, and get a few things for the car (like a snow scraper). I'm also gonna run an errand for Mom and get another space heater and Dustbuster. At least, I think that's all she wanted me to get...

Any Trillian users out there? I want to use ICQ on this thing, but I don't want to see just numbers appear when they start contacting me (i.e. "Who's 1276592? *click click* oh. Hi!")

I think we're able to have all the heaters running in the house right now because the Oil Furnace is off, and therefore isn't needing power... Haven't busted a circuit breaker yet.

Tomorrow, I am definitely asking Telesat if I can park inside their parking lot. For the past 2 days, my car's been COVERED in mud when I leave at 3:00pm (due to trucks driving by it every 5 minutes since 9am), and it's damn ugly right now. *saddened* I've put a couple of towels to at least clean off the windows so that I can drive, and got a brush to clear off the snow (and it's blue, too ^_^)

I have half a mind to lug out of the hose and spray it off, 'cause Car Washes are $8 a go and I don't want to pay another $40 a week to keep it looking nice. O_o At least toweling it down makes it slightly better...

I saw this wicked-cool gadget in Wired Magazine today - a cordless mouse that doesn't even need a mousepad or flat surface - you can operate the thing in the air. Might be a nice replacement if I can't get my mouse to function right... it keeps slipping. O_o

This caught my attention in the WIRED Magazine as well. JAKKS Pacific has released a joystick called the Atari 10-in-1. It cosnsists of nothing more than an Atari joystick (definitely retro) and the wires that connect it to the TV. No console needed, and it's got 10 classic Atari games built into it, like Asteroids or Yar's Revenge! And for $30Canadian, that's an awesome price for a all-encompassing retro throwback ^_^

I found out that GM will be producing Hybrid cards (gasoline/electric) in 4 years. Good news for me, then - I'll have paid off this car and I can use it as trade-in on a Hybrid! ^_^

What actually caught my attention was about Ford in this here article. They mention the "Model U" where the canvas roof is made from corn, the foam in the seats is soy-based, and the engine is lubricated by sunflower oil. I immediately thought "edible car". ^_^

What was the title of the show for "Avventure in Camelot" today? Wingardium Leviosa! Word for word! Harry Potter has become quite popular ^_^

Good advice from bash.org.
