(no subject)

Just finished stringing christmas lights on the tree. Of course, Dad was getting frustrated with us because we weren't checking the lights correctly. Doesn't Angry Dads seem to be the norm for Xmas?

I guess we'll be decorating the tree tonight ^_^ - and since we're only 10 days away from Christmas, I can bet there will be tons upon tons of religion-related stuff going about on IPTN this week and the next - as well, there will be tons and tons of Christmas movies circulating the television stations. Who wants to watch Nightmare Before Christmas? ^_^

Yesterday Sabrina and I had a very nice relaxing day. We planned on a couple of things (watch Life of Brian, make a gingerbread house from scratch) but decided to watch Red Dwarf and play video games. ^_^ It was a very relaxing day. No-one bid on my Super Mario Sunshine - but that was expected, ah well. Sabrina and I searched for some random items, and she discovered her Utena Ring could fetch a pretty penny ^_^ - plus we found RedOctane selling some Ignition Pads on the cheap on eBay. I've bid on a couple of them in the hopes that I could get some DDR goodness ^_^

My desire to go to the mall yesterday was quelled, however, I ended up going today :P It was quite busy at the mall - lots of people scrambling around. I stopped off in the arcade, and no longer have a desire to go there, because they removed the DDR machine :( I went and looked for Mom's gifts and Jake's gifts. I found this electric water dispenser for pets that keeps the water cold (therefore Jake wouldn't wake us up at 2am to get a cold drink outside), but I fear that Jake would be scared to death of the thing. :P

Which reminds me - I had better go to my room and wrap the gifts before someone sneaks around in there. O_o

(no subject)

We're not decorating the tree tonight - 'cause Seanna wants to decorate it with us, and she works tonight... so it'll just be a flashing-light tree for a night or so ^_^

I cleaned up my GameCube today - can't figure out what happened to it, but something sticky got stuck in it... at least it works fine now, and looks cleaner 'cause it's been cleaned with a damp cloth. (The only way to clean)

Oh yes! I forgot to mention this. Friday night, I was working, and hoping to go to UTARPA. Sabrina gave me a call and warned me that the show would most likely be over before I could make it down there, so I decided not to go.

And then decided to go after I hung up. :P I forgot that I needed to pay Sheena back for the costume (never did get to see her, ah well - I'll find her another time), and just went to the subway stop and waited for Sabrina to appear. When Sabrina noticed me, she stopped with a slight jump. She was not expecting to see me there :P I had a good laugh with that. She gave me some Rum Stollen that she swiped from the school while she was there today... umm, rummy goodness... er, I mean... heh... I don't eat alcohol stuffs typically but it was good. Kinda like fruitcake but without all the bad connotations that go with that holiday brick. ^_^

And it's games like the Activision Anthology that makes me want a PS2. Gee, I think it may be cheaper for me to locate an Atari 2600 and find the 45 games instead of buying a PS2 and that game :P
