*sits and meditates about the past few days*

This is a rarity for me - I'll update shortly.

Well, let's see what's happened with me for the past couple of days. Come, follow me as we traipse through the mind that is of Tamakun...

At work on Thursday, we managed to work out a plan for IPTN while the Pope was in Poland. a lot of recording and such was happening, so I hope that we managed to capture everything. After Monday (the Pope leaves Monday) we go to a normal schedule. Kinda.

I had Sabrina over that night so we could watch Resident Evil. But first, we watched "Parrot Sketch Not Included", an hour of Mony Python clips. During the show we had a bit of a pillow fight. :P

Resident Evil... man oh man, that's one well-designed, well-paced, well-scary movie. Freaky to the max, incredble effects, and a good launch to go and play the games again. ^_^ I may have to locate them just so I can freak out Sabrina with them :P

After Sabrina left I stayed up a bit and played some Earth and Beyond Online, then realized I had been up for almost 24 hours straight (4:00am wakeup call to go to IPTN, and it was 3:45am the next day when I turned in).

Today, I woke up feeling good and went to drop off a strawberry pot at a person's apartment (I alter discovered that she doesn't grow strawberries, but puts herbs into the "pockets" - a good idea). While we had lunch it rained heavily for 30 minutes. I guess that was our "thunderstorm". v_v I wanted more...

I went to the AnimeXtreme store near Chinatown following that, and that's a very well-organized, open store - compared to the cramped closets that all the stores in CHinatown look like. Sabrina noticed this, too - there's a small glass-enclosed "workstation" near the entrance that had some half-finished models inside. I guess they sometimes have people working on building Gundam models when you enter - a nice touch. ^_^

Oh! The Dundas Arcade now has a couple of new games - "Beach Head" (which you stick your head inside a helmet and shoot people as they storm the beach... interesting-looking machine but I wouldn't play it), and "ParaParaDancing", the Korean-language version of ParaParaParadise. Unfortunately it was crud. The sensors were too precise, so you could lose really easily if you're not doing well, and furthermore the sound effects were incredibly loud - drowning out DDRMAX2 - and the music was inaudible. I leaned closer to the speakers and I could hear it - but by then I'm leaning into the sensors and I'm not playing. I won't play those machines there again until they fix that problem.

I took some backroads today to get to the AnimeXtreme store, and came across a street (which I forget the name... began with a "B", near the Michener Institute) that has two Japanese restaurants. Judging purely by their outward appearance, I want to visit both of them. ^_^

I saw the new subway map, with the Sheppard Subway line added. The new subway only goes East for a total of 5 stops, ending at Fairview Mall. It doesn't even connect to the other top of the "U" (Toronto's Subway consists of a "U" shape, and Sheppard is near the very top of the right line of the "U".) Good for convenience, but kinda lousy for all the work that was put into it... I may use it, oh, 2 or 3 times in the coming year, when I have no car and feel the need to go to Fairview. O_o

Ah, yes, I remembered the name of the anime about the Trading company that fights monsters by night - Shinesman! ^_^

I saw the end of Trigun today. Considering what happened last month, this was ... well, nicer. Maybe I should see the first 10 or so episodes (I came into the show late O_o)

Ah oh YES! I managed to get my hands on the 2nd translated Chobits Manga! ^_^ I'm savouring this one. I've only read 4 or 5 chapters since I picked it up this afternoon. ^_^

My head and throat hurts... I'm sacking out.
