Geez, my sister...
*walk into the house* "Hey Seanna, how was your concert and overnight party? When did you get to sleep?"
"I haven't gone to sleep yet."
(I went to work at 5:00am and she was still in the backyard, chatting with one of the people who stayed over after the Tragically Hip concert.)
"Hey, if I unload the dishwasher, can you reload it?"
*I shoot her a silent glance over my sunglasses, knowing that the kitchen is a mess from last night, and I cleaned up my dishes*
"Ok, then can you unload it so that I can load the dishwasher so that the kitchen'll be clean for when Mom and Ded get home?"
"Mom and Dad aren't coming home until tomorrow... right?"
"Oh thank GOD... ok, I'm going to bed. See ya."
*shakes head*
I sure hope Seanna (pronounced "Shawna") doesn't have such a messy house when she lives in Halifax... O_o
Wood: I have a severe dislike for the Triwizard Tournament... Even though I've graduated from Hogwarts, it's obvious why. *pouts*
Well, I had a great time with Shu-chan yesterday. I got Harry his birthday gift of "Quidditch Through the Ages". I see that he also got Wizard Cards and a new wand - Happy Birthday, Harry! :)
I, upon finding it, picked up the 5th Chobits Manga, untranslated, and got a awesome little gift with it. I have a Chii puzzle and tin box! ^_^ Chii looks so cute as a nurse, but clueless to what to use - Antivirus pills or an Antivirus CD ^_^
With help from Chii, I made dinner for me and Shu-chan. Teriyaki Chicken with Sticky Rice, Miso Soup and Green Tea, with homemade Strawberry icecream for dessert. Considering that most of my recipes are never tried beforehand, I'm doing rather well ^_^
We managed to find Bertie Bott's Every-Flavour Beans! Fairview Mall's "Toys Toys Toys" had a couple of bags, and so I just had to pick one up for Harry. I was lucky in that I never got any bogie-flavoured ones.
It was an early night last night, and I'm surprised I'm not dead right now, considering I finally fell asleep around 10:30. I had the 5:30am shift this morning, and I have the same tomorrow as well. However, Monday to Friday is the 2:30pm-11:30pm shift, and my weekend is open, so I can't complain.
I only hope that I'll get at least the Saturday of CNAnime off, because I requested it. I'm hoping for all three days, but that's incredibly doubtful due to us getting only 2-day-weekends (i.e. no 3- or 4-days off) for the past little while. *needs to work on Faust costume*
I want more CHOBITS... Chii~~
