(no subject)

The buses running between CT and IPTN are practically nonexistant. At least there are "blue line" buses on Queen so that I can get to work at 5:45 in the morning. I'm concerned about the neighborhood at 11:30pm, tho... I've never been to the Beaches before this job, so I have no knowledge of the nightlife there.

Oh, this is gonna be fun. [/sarcasm] I have tomorrow off, and I work Days Thursday and Friday, work CTC Saturday morning, IPTN Saturday night, CTC Sunday morning, and IPTN Sunday night. I hate schedules.

We celebrated my Dad's 50th birthday tonight with a surprise concert at the Molson Ampitheatre with The Guess Who. That was a lot of fun - admittedly, I didn't know a couple of the song,s but I definitely rocked-out on the ones I did. ^_^

(There was a lot of mary-jane being passed around O_o I think I'm a bit high from all the fumes)

Costume Report

Hideki / Yorokonde Uniform:

Black Pants: yes Purchased today (replaced the ones I wrecked rollerblading).
Black Shoes:yes I have a pair, but I may want to get new ones.
Fancy Pleated White Shirt: no I've been referred to check Harry Rosen for it. I'll have to do that sometime.
Red Bowtie: no That's gonna be tricky to find ^_^
Yorokonde Suit: in progress The Black lining has been sewn and the Yellow fabric has been cut. I'm halfway through stitching the "Izaka-Ya Yorokonde" on the back of the suit.

Faust / Guilty Gear X:

Brown Shoes: no I wonder if I should make those, considering it needs those black balls on it.
White Labcoat: no I'm hoping to get the pattern for it so I don't have as much trouble as I normally do creating things ^^;
Paper Bag: no This is unexplainable. ^_^
Scalpel: in progress I have doweling that will make up the shaft, but what about the blade? Hm... (and what's the best way to glue two dowels together so that they won't fall apart? Make them "slot" into each other?)
Blue Shirt: yes Just picked up today. Very sharp shirt.
Black Tie: yes Also picked up today. Clip-on. :P
Green Pants: in progress I can't remember if I have a pair of good green khaki pants. If not I'll go get some another time.
Black Balls: no I may go to Lewiscraft and paint some styrofoam balls black.

If anyone's wondering why Livejournal's been acting a little strange, it's because they've been doing maintenance. You can see what's up with the server with that link.

Alright, time for beddies already. O_o When a person has to wake up at 4:00am in the morning and typically goes to bed around 1:00am or 2:00am, this throws them off a LOT.

Oh yeah, and I'm done with the stitching of the "Yorokonde" Logo... it looks amazing, now that it's done. Now I just need to get it all put together by next Saturday :)
