Anyhow, work tonight (working as a Cashier at CT) was strangely refreshing. I think it's because I haven't done it for at least 6 months, so it feels new. I got the obligatory "you work at the cash?" (I used to work at the Cash before the Cash Office) and "I haven't seen you for a long time" (I've only been working weekends) statements, too.

Probably the best thing was that we were plaing Harry Potter on the TVs near my cash, so I could glance over occasionally and read the closed-captioning. :) I happened to see the Sorting Hat scene in its entirety - according to Shu-chan it seems to be word-for-word perfect!

Shu-chan, I had this crazy-nutzoid idea, but I'd like to do it sometime. On a stormy night, I want to go out to a park with a giant beach-sized umbrella and blankets/towels, find a park bench, and just sit and watch the storm all cozy-like and watch the lightning. Unless you're scared of thunderstorms...

I love thunderstorms. I have a tape of thunderstorms that sometimes I'll listen to in order to fall asleep. The only downside to that tape is one side has piano music with the thunderstorms - I'd like a tape of nothing but thunder... :)

Viruses

It seems that viruses are running rampant these days, what with all these websites telling people to update their virus scanners and whatnot because they're still getting the Klez virus.

I'm proud to say that my system is kept up-to-date with an autoupdater that checks every time the computer is turned on or rebooted (which is at least once a day).

Now, if only it was so simple to update the antivirus files as it was to run the program...

I have Mcafee's VirusScan enabled, and just today it needed some major updates to the program... unfortunately it caused me to install an older version which then refused to be uninstalled... one live-chat later (I still think they're just 'bots on the other side, they say the same thing every time) I've had to manually uninstall the old version and re-install the new version, then get updates from the web again. sigh It just eats into all my online time.

As well, I need to figure out how to get my Palm to sync with my 2 Hotmail accounts. I just discovered it managed to get the test letter I sent to my local folder (my @Rogers account, which I don't use), but not the Hotmail accounts. Maybe I can just get Outlook 2002, maybe that will solve the problem.

UTARPA is on tomorrow, I'll be there with bells on. Well, not really, but you get the gist.

Hm, maybe I should make some callbacks to the TV stations tomorrow. I just hope to be in a good mindset tomorrow to call them.
