I'm considering taking a one-year absence from Canada to teach English to the Japanese.

Any suggestions or websites that I can visit that would help me see how this works?

I'm starting to feel desperate for a job... I'm going to drop off a resume at TD Canada Trust as a banker this week and see what comes up :| I've had a year and a half of counting tills and balancing books, and I think I could make more at a bank than at a retail store.

It was suggested by one of my co-workers ehre that I re-apply at Woodbine Entertainment and see if anything's there. She used to work for that company, and her husband still does :)

I've got all the elements for my Demo Tape together, and I've already gone ahead and mentioned it at my online resume at Media Job Search Canada. At least by leaving my resume out there, it's bound to be viewed at least a couple of times.

According to the schedule, this is my final shift at U8TV :( ... however, I predict that I will be called in for at least one unscheduled shift as people have been taking more and more "personal days". (Besides, I have to drop off my timesheet sometime, anyways :P )

I'd like to welcome Shu-chan to the LiveJournal community! She's a bit yaoi-obsessed, but you get used to it after a while ;)
