I almost fell asleep on the subway today. The extra 1.5 hours helped, but I'm still tired.
Remember how Scrooge didn't use any lights in house house, because dark was cheap, and cheap was good to Scrooge?
Well, the light bulb in the ceiling burnt out this morning. I would be apt to leave it alone and just sit in the darkness, 'cause it's cool. But I went and replaced it, anyways. Took me 3 light bulbs to fix it - 100w is way too bright, 25w is nonexistent (why do we even have 25w bulbs?), and I had to take a 60w bulb from another lamp that we don't use much anyway.
And 60w costs less than 100w - even though I'm not footing the electricity bill.
And now I have those swimming green-purple spots in my eyes. :|
